The purpose of the Summit Stage is to provide free scheduled public
transportation and ADA para-transit service for residents and visitors
to Summit County.
Discover the Summit by Stage!
A century after Summit County's storied gold and silver rush played
out, another boom began. This time the treasure was White Gold,
Summit's gossamer powder snow. To honor our ski history, the Summit
Stage has made several vehicles a traveling showcase for the heroes of
the White Gold rush.
Enjoy their stories as you travel the Stage's runs to Boreas Pass,
Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Dillon, Dillon Valley, Frisco, Keystone,
Silverthorne, Summit Cove, Warrior's Mark, and Wildernest -- all
landmarks along the byway of Summit County's past. Discover the Summit
by Stage as we put history on wheels. We have created a Museum on the
Move, highlighting history, the environment, and people. Over twenty
buses now feature the names of local ski and history greats.
Summit Stage provides scheduled, fixed-route buses and advance
reservation para-transit service. The Stage's goal is to deliver safe,
courteous, and reliable transportation.
We try our best to maintain scheduled times. Occasionally, we may
run late due to weather or traffic conditions. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause. We will notify radio stations about
extended service delays.
All Stage buses are wheelchair accessible. Guests requiring
additional assistance may call Mountain Mobility at (970) 418-0964. To
use Mountain Mobility you must have a qualifying disability that
prevents you from riding fixed-route buses.
